- Rent and all utilities
- Meals (ask how many per day)
- Housekeeping and laundry
- Scheduled transportation
- Activities and programs
- Basic personal care and check-ins
- Maintenance and emergency call system
What costs extra? Ask, and write the amount
- Levels of care: how are they priced, and what moves you up a level?
- A one-time community fee or entrance fee?
- A second-person fee, if a spouse moves in too?
- Medication management?
- Extra help with bathing, dressing, or mobility?
- Cable, internet, phone, or parking?
About price increases
- How often do fees increase, and by how much in recent years?
- What triggers an increase besides the annual one?
